As a sofa it’s pretty firm and quite uncomfortable after a period due to being very firm. Cushions are needed to support lower back. As a bed i use a memory foam topper which is quite thick and this makes the bed very comfortable. I wouldn’t sleep on this without a topper, it’s just too firm.
